Making vanilla sugar at home is very easy, very effective and you get a lot of value out of the vanilla bean. Simply take the vanilla bean, cut it in half, scrape the vanilla with a knife. Add it to a glass jar together with the sugar and mix it.
Leave it until you need to use it for a fantastic sugar cookie or to add some extra flavour to your summer strawberries.
