Freshly picked berries are a big part of Swedish cuisine and are served both with meatballs and pancakes. It's a simple idea of taking the berries you have on hand and adding a little sugar. Leave it at room temperature overnight and the sugar and berries will melt together.
You can keep the berries in the fridge for as long as you like! Use whatever berries are in season and add regular caster sugar.
